What is in there?
It's mostly some thoughts, photos, and videos from my sailing with my smallish boat Elvira. In due time, when I have sorted more pictures and edited some videos, there will be some things about De Tukker, Grayhound and other tallships I've been on. Hopefully the list will keep growing, and hopefully too it will be interesting for some people to read.
Why sailing?
When I was a kid I wanted to go to sea but couldn't. At 15, I started to sail on small dinghies for one week every summer. It stopped when I went to Uni and studies software engineering. I later moved to Luleå until 2023 when, after a very long hiatus, I found my way to the sea again by buying my first proper sailboat: Elvira.
Since then, I went to the sailing school in Enkhuizen and I am trying to get my officer papers. In the meantime, I do a bit of freelancing when I'm not afloat.
