Visiting for guard duty

First time being back in Grödinge since I left in November after prepping Elvira for winter.

As part of the Grödinge Båtklubb membership, one needs to fulfil a few things including two guard duty nights, one in spring, one in autumn. Mine for the spring was on the 31st of March, which was nice: I used this opportunity to bring a first batch of stuff to the boat to prepare my move there. Well, I also used this train trip to make a stop at a few blues jam in the old town of Stockholm: arrived on Friday for the jam in St:a Clara, then went to Engelen on Saturday afternoon and back to St:a Clara in the evening.

I arrived at the boat club earlier than needed for the guard duty, so I could have a look at the boat and see if all had survived winter correctly. I also took the opportunity to take a few pictures of the scratches I made on the keel and ask a few advices about it.

Since I had my harmonicas and one of my guitars with me, I kept awake during my watch by training a bit. And after a cold sleep in the boat in the morning, I made my way back to Stockholm for the night train that would take me back to Luleå.

And the other on the front

Over all the tarpaulin had hold nicely with the exception of the melting snow forming a big pool on one side.

Still here, as I'd left her.
