Time to move (well not much), and to go on the bigger island.

Going out before the postal boat arrives, well I managed that in the knick of time. The navigation in itself flew superfast: reaching all the way, speeding on the wavy sea. The trickiest part was the motoring at the end: it was rather unpleasant with the side waves. I also contrived to arrive at the same time as the ferry boat and the postal boat making the connection between Christiansø and Gudhjem. So I needed to circle back behind them and make my way carefully between rocks on both side to enter the harbour. You've got to trust your engine in those times.

Even inside the harbour, I needed to move with a bit more gas than I'd have like to counter the wind effect on my boat. However, all went OK and I managed to use a mooring line for the first time without making a catastrophe out of it.

After that, I could enjoy a leisurely walk along the south-side coast and a relaxing swim in the sea. Once again I spend a good part of the late afternoon playing music from my boat and my Danish neighbours were quite happy about it 😅🤣.

Fun but bumpy sailing !

Bye-bye Christiansø

Happy sailor (again, learn how to smile…)

A lovely little harbour

Elvira seems quite happy waiting there.

A lot of very nice looking little houses in this village.
