In a wind that was constantly changing strength and directions, I zigzagged through many islands before anchoring in a small inlet…

I started late on the motor to go get a new bottle for the kitchen. On the way I met with friends from GBK! They were also going in the same way for a bit on their catamaran (clearly recognisable from the Viking dragons painted on the bows) and we had a quick chat across the water while motoring.

Once I had a new bottle and fill-up the diesel tank, I set sails southward. It wasn't the most relaxing navigation ever: there was a lot of wiggling around and between islands in an ever-changing wind (both in strength and direction), yet it was rather pretty and toward the end of the day the light was fantastic (again).

I wanted to grab a SXK buoy for the night, but it was already taken up. So instead I went to a small creak just half a mile further to anchor. I hesitated to use my brand-new gear and try a nature anchoring, but eventually chickened out and went for a regular anchoring, which was just as well since the wind changed a lot overnight.
